Hello!
I'm Aurora!
I first started playing violin in 6th grade, as many of us do in Utah. Truthfully, I didn't really LOVE violin at first, but then I started taking private lessons, which exploded my love for the instrument.
From there I finished my K-12 career playing in the orchestra classes. In my high school years, I played in Davis Youth Symphony and Philharmonics, Utah All-State Orchestra at both the Jr. High (9th grade) and High School Levels (10th-12th). During my 11th and 12th grade years, I served as Concert Master for the top orchestras at my high school.
After High School, I attended Weber State University, graduating in December of 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Intrumental Music. During my stay at Weber State University, I studied violin under Dr. Elissa Krebs, performing works such as Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto and the famous Three Duets for Two Violins and Piano by Dimitri Shostakovich. I also studied large ensemble works such as Mozart's 40th Symphony and Bizet's Opera Carmen to name a few. These large scale works I studied under Dr. Francisco De Galvez. I was also fortunate enough to study small ensemble works under Dr. Viktor Uzur, a world renound cellist.
Moving forward, I aim to attend the University of Utah starting Fall of 2026, to pursue a Masters in Music, with an emphasis in Orchestral Conducting, in hopes of continuing to guide musicians of all ages to pursue their dreams in music.
I am looking forward to teaching your lovely students, and instilling the same inspiration and love for music that my teachers instilled in me many years ago.
